Lily Junker (she/her/hers) is a theatre-maker with a fondness for ensemble-based work & storytelling through movement.
WHERE SHE COMES FROM:
Lily is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She is a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh,
where she studied Theatre and Writing. She spent several years in Sarasota, Florida and throughout New York and New Jersey, honing her skills as an educator and artist.
WHERE SHE IS NOW:
Lily returned to Pittsburgh after nearly 10 years away in 2019. She is thrilled to be back in the 'Burgh, where her family and artistic roots run deep. She is happy to be working as a teaching artist and administrator where she first fell in love with theater, the Center for Theater Arts in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. And she can hardly believe her oldest child is now a student there herself!
UP NEXT:
Lily is working with the incredible students at the Center for Theater Arts, teaching musical theater for
the Special Actors' program serving adults and children with disabilities. She will also be directing MATILDA the musical with over 100 students in 1st-8th grades later this spring.
